  Rescue: The Cheerful was bound from London to Liverpool via Falmouth. The ship was struck by HMS Hecla in dense fog. Survivors were landed at Plymouth Census: Listed as "Metcalfe" This proprety was occupied by the Rothschilds They had 3 children and all 3 were still living, but none with them on census night. "Pentamar" had 9 rooms. Diamond Wedding: They recieved a telegram from the King: " The Kings sends you hearty congratulations and good wishes on your Diamond Wedding Day"
